we would like to introduce a new product in our range – the SMART 16 mm pleated blinds, a modern pleated blind system consisting of 16 mm wide profiles, designed for 15 mm wide pleated fabrics and 20 mm wide honeycomb (duet) fabrics.
The SMART 16 mm system has been designed mainly for large glazed areas and HS and HST-type patio sliding doors. Thanks to the slim profile design, the pleated blinds perfectly match modern window frames, ensuring an attractive appearance and ease of use.
Within the SMART 16 mm system, we offer two solutions based on different profiles: the PSM 161 and PSM 162 models.
The PSM 161 model uses an asymmetrical profile measuring 16 × 37 mm, designed for fitting to most commonly available types of glazing beads. The system also allows for the use of magnetic mounting feet. The maximum possible width of the pleated blind in this model is 220 cm.

The PSM 162 model features a snap-fit profile measuring 16 × 34 mm, designed for installation on slanted and inclined glazing beads, snapped into place on mounting feet. The maximum permissible width of the pleated blind in this model is 180 cm.

Both models are fitted with operation profiles, meaning they do not have additional, exposed operation handles. The profile itself acts as a handle along its entire length, ensuring convenient operation of the pleated blind.
Available profile colors for the SMART 16mm system
The design of the profiles, based on a closed internal chamber, ensures outstanding stability of the entire system. As a result, the profiles do not bend under the tension of the pleated cords, which allows for the manufacture of large-scale blinds.
Although the SMART 16 mm System is designed for 15 mm wide pleated fabrics and 20 mm wide honeycomb fabrics, both models also allow for the use of 20 mm wide pleated fabrics and 25 mm wide honeycomb fabrics. (Please note that when using 25 mm fabrics, the fabric will be significantly wider than the profile (16 mm wide) and will extend beyond its edges.
