Abachi wood, originating in Africa, is characterised by durability and the fact that it does not deform under humidity. Abachi wood slats are made of single pieces of wood, hence, there are no finger joints on their surface. They are slightly thicker (3.3 mm) than Basswood slats (2.5 mm, except the Rustic collection at 3.2 mm), but despite this, they are lighter.
